REFUND & RETURNS POLICY

Overview

At Nestology Living, many of our products are made to order and produced overseas specifically for each customer, based on selected designs, finishes, dimensions, or specifications. For this reason, our return and refund policy differs from standard off-the-shelf products.

This policy explains your rights and our obligations under EU consumer protection law.


Made-to-Order & Custom Products (Important)

In accordance with Article 103(c) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are:

  • Made to the consumer’s specifications

  • Clearly personalised

  • Manufactured to order or sourced specifically for the customer

As a result, made-to-order, custom, or special-order furniture is non-returnable and non-refundable once production has begun.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Furniture produced after an order is placed

  • Items made in selected fabrics, finishes, colours, or dimensions

  • Products sourced from overseas manufacturers specifically for the customer


Order Confirmation & Production

Once an order is confirmed and production has started:

  • The order cannot be cancelled

  • No refunds or exchanges will be offered, except in cases of defect or damage (see below)

Customers are responsible for reviewing all product details carefully before placing an order.


Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

For non-custom, standard products, EU consumers have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 calendar days from receipt of the goods.

To exercise this right:

  • You must notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery

  • Products must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.


Damaged or Defective Goods

If your product arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery by email at:

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photographs of the damage or defect

  • Photos of the packaging (if applicable)

We will assess the issue and, where appropriate, offer:

  • Repair

  • Replacement

  • Partial or full refund

This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.


Minor Variations

Due to the nature of furniture manufacturing and natural materials:

  • Minor variations in colour, grain, texture, or finish

  • Small tolerances in dimensions

are considered normal characteristics and do not constitute defects.


Delivery Issues

Delays caused by manufacturers, shipping carriers, customs clearance, or events beyond our control do not entitle the customer to cancel a made-to-order purchase or request a refund.


Refund Processing

Approved refunds (where applicable) will be processed to the original payment method within 14 days of approval.
